The lifetime digital health profile

A lifetime valid digital health profile with a digital health card, an annual disease statistical report, and personal health cloud access — for every beneficiary in the programme.

Emergency view versus full record

Two very different things

The emergency view is small and open

Blood group, allergies, conditions, medications and emergency contact. Readable by a scan, because in an emergency there is nobody to ask for consent.

The full record is large and closed

Everything else requires the person's consent to read, scoped to a purpose and a period.

What makes it lifetime valid

Three properties

  1. It is attached to an identity that outlives us

The ABHA number belongs to the person and the national system, not to Aid By Care.

  2. It is written in standard codes

A record in SNOMED CT and LOINC remains readable by any conforming system, including ones that do not exist yet.

  3. It is portable by design

Multi-tenant architecture allows a provider or a person to port data out to any FHIR-enabled application of their choice, on demand.

See what the person carries.

The card is the profile made physical.
