If you are not a clinician you can still be the reason a camp day works.
Roles
Six, none of them requiring a medical qualification
Registration
Checking rolls, capturing basic details, keeping a queue of four hundred children moving.
Translation
Between the clinical team and families — often the single most valuable role on the day.
Parent counselling support
Sitting with families while a referral is explained.
Logistics
Setting up stations, managing supplies, keeping records in order.
Card distribution
Handing over cards and explaining how to read them.
Follow-up calling
Ringing families afterwards to find out whether a referral was attended.
