Instruments are scarce; sharing them requires data, not goodwill
A district may have adequate diagnostic capacity and still deliver poor screening, because the instruments sit in facilities that cannot see each other's queues. Medical IoT addresses this by making instruments addressable: a device reports what it is, where it is, what it is doing and what it produced.
In our camps the immediate benefit is smaller and more practical. A connected analyser writes its result straight into the profile as a LOINC-coded observation, which removes a transcription step and the errors that come with it.
